UEFA confirmed the organization of the European Cup in 2016 has not changed from the original plan. Finals persists in France from June 10 to July 10, 2016.

Security conditions in Paris had been in doubt after the bombing and shooting incident on Friday (11/13/2015). No less than 129 were killed, three of whom are victims of an explosion outside the Stade de France.

UEFA did not dismiss the possibility of the European Cup as a target of further attacks. However, they still affirm its commitment to hold the tournament in France.
"For three years, Euro 2016 SAS (the organizing committee of the tournament) in cooperation with the relevant authorities to establish appropriate mechanisms for the security of the tournament. We are confident that all parties will take the necessary action," UEFA said in a statement on Monday (16/11/2015).
"European Cup finals draw will take place as scheduled on 12 December at the Palais des Congres, Paris. The final round of the tournament will be held in France from June 10 to July 10, 2015," the statement said.
This decision contrary to the advice of the French national team star at the World Cup in 1058, Just Fontaine. Earlier, Fontaine suggested that France remove the right to host the tournament for security reasons.
"I think the French have to cancel the tournament. I am very worried about the Black Friday incident happen again. We can not guarantee the security to host major events," he said."Do you think people will go to the Stade de France in the future?" said Fontaine.
