Movistar Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo, started the mission defend his world title to be a winner in the 2016 MotoGP series at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, Sunday (03/20/2016).
Lorenzo started the race well from pole position and led the race immediately. However, at the end of the first lap, Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso got through.
Entering the second lap of the 22 lap race, five riders at the front started to move away. Iannone, Dovizioso, Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez began to leave Dani Pedrosa and Maverick Vinales.
Marquez got past Rossi to get the fourth position in the corner 6 on the third lap. In front, Iannone and Dovizioso competing.
At the start of the sixth lap, Dovizioso got past Iannone, but only for a moment. Iannone returned to lead the race.
Dovizioso back past Iannone at the corner 5. Iannone tried to take back his place, but fell at the corner 13. Racing Italian rider ended.
